Update : I had been waiting for Halloween day itself for my biggest hood ornament due to the sheer ludicrousness, but I decided this evening I could find a different home for him.
(Yes, that’s wire holding his tail in place; definitely a weak spot in the design, and in my presentation.)
As you may recall I’ve been adding critters to my Jeep for Halloween. Today I grew the collection.

A rat with bony ears? A bird with seven phalanges on each wing? Creepy!

I love it. I too get a little frustrated that I can only find skeletal critters that put bone for ears. As if we couldn’t recognize an animal without them.

I've been wanting to decorate the truck but I'm worried something would fly off or get stolen

I’m not all that worried about someone stealing a skeleton, although I’d be disappointed. However, if they were all stolen, it’d be the same as not having decorations...which is what you’re doing right now, so what do you have to lose?
(Assuming your decorations don’t cost an arm and a leg, of course.)
Flying off is definitely a concern. I started small, with the frog on the hood, to make sure the glue and magnets would hold, and stayed off the interstate for the first day or two.
